Visit at Mother's

My baby brother, who didn't get to come to Thanksgiving, finally made it to Mother's for the weekend. He drove up from Corpus Christi on his Harley, so, of course, it turned cold and rainy today. But he isn't going home until tomorrow, so maybe it'll be dry, even if it's still cold. There's a chance for a dusting of snow, but he'll be headed south, so he shouldn't have that to deal with.

Anyway, Buddy and Gail came, too, so we had a mini-Thanksgiving today. The picture is of Gail and her granddaughter, Kaitlin, modeling two of my aprons. Gail's a Texas Longhorns fan, while Kaitlin loves the Aggies.
I'm making the aprons to sell at Daingerfield Days in early October. Did you notice the "push-me pull-me" that Kaitlin's holding? It's used to move the oven rack in and out so you don't burn your arm doing it. Ouch! Lonnie will have those for sale in our booth too. If you happen to be in northeast Texas on October 9th, come on by.
