Aprons

What do you think about these new aprons? Susan, one of the attorneys at my office, brought me a picture she had torn out of her Southern Living magazine, so I went home and experimented.

This was the first one. I went back and shortened the waist ties after I took this picture because they were way too long.

She loved it so much she immediately asked me to make another one for her friend. This is what Erin will get. Unless, of course, Susan decides to keep it and give her the hot pink one instead. Susan's kitchen is green.

Courtney, another of the attorneys at the office, saw Susan's apron and asked me to make two for her to give as birthday gifts for her sister and her grandmother. This is the first one.

The other one will be hot pink, similar to Susan's.

The solid color part of the apron is terry cloth, so it'll be handy for wiping wet hands. I like that idea, but I wasn't really sure about mixing the loud prints with gingham checks. The younger set seems to love it, though, so I think I'll make a few more.
