Lonnie's sister, Carol, lost her fight with brain cancer on Tuesday. After 21 months, she finally conceded defeat. We drove down to the Texas City area for her funeral.
Carol loved yellow roses. Lonnie and Barbara sent this beautiful spray of flowers in memory of their sister.
While we were there, we had opportunity to visit with many family members, some I had never met.
This is Michael and his mom, Sherri. Sherri and Lonnie are first cousins once removed. She's one of Charles and Shirley's kids.
Kim and Barbara flew in from Phoenix.
