We finally got the garden planted today. It's been so soggy that we just couldn't get anything in the ground earlier. We have such a tiny little spot, but it's full. I made a shopping list for Lonnie - three or four tomato plants, two or three pepper plants... He came home with three 6-packs of tomatoes and a 6-pack of peppers. He planted one of each variety of tomato in a home-made "Topsy Turvy"; then we planted what we could in the garden, and the rest in buckets. In the actual garden, we also planted squash, cucumbers, green beans, baby limas, and cantaloupe. Yeah, yeah, I know...but if even half of it produces as expected, we can feed this whole neighborhood! Oh, and I have one small rosemary plant, but it'll have to go in a pot too.

I'll take some too!!! Everything I try to grow just dies. Except all these kids
Thank goodness! You water the kids and I'll send the veggies.
Ok, I'll even trade you the kids for the vegies!!! You know, to make sure you are compensated.
