We drove down to Gary for Phillip's 6th birthday party today. It was a luau, and the kids seemed to have a blast. They held that party at their little country church, where they had lots of room and air conditioning!
His favorite present was an aquarium. He and Carrie will go shopping for fish in a couple of days. She plans to teach him how to take care of them (and the aquarium) so he can truly call them his own. They had a "fish pond" and a treasure hunt, and the kids each got to decorate a goody bag to hold treats. Mother made an aquarium cake - isn't it cute?
