Christmas 2009

Merry, merry Christmas, y'all! And love to all our kids south and east of us, to Mama and DB, siblings and friends (yes, even to Barbara and Kevin, on their 17-day cruise to warm places)! We have had a quiet day at home, just us and Max. Stayed inside because it's been much too cold to get out. Talked to the kids. Everything seems right with our world, at least for the moment.


Max found his place in the sun.


And now he has a real bed there. Merry Christmas, Max!



We have started Lonnie quite a collection of airplanes. This is the one for this year, a Cessna 310:

My honey got me this beautiful necklace for Christmas. The turquoise and coral pendants are interchangeable. And he also got me pearl earrings to match the necklace he got me for my birthday.

Lonnie was so proud of all his stocking stuffers that he lined them up on the table and took a picture.


Even though he said he was full, he had to try a slice of the pecan pie with Blue Bell ice cream on the side!
