The joy of Easter

Dogwood 005

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Never forget the reason we celebrate Easter. It has nothing to do with bunnies or candy, or even the awakening of the flowers.

He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

Remember the darkness and the terrible fear that surrounded His followers when He died. But remember in joy, the thrill they knew when He rose from the tomb.

I hope you have a wonderful, meaningful Easter.
