Lonnie has dressed all in black and gone out late at night to just sit and try to see what in the world has been coming around. No luck. Nothing stirring.
So, for an early Father's Day present, I bought him a camera that he fastens to the deck. We didn't get any action for several nights after that. But the critter finally came back.

Just look at this brazen little rascal! Gorging itself on bird seed. Fortunately, Lonnie has the top of the bird feeder fastened down so it can't be knocked off.

Notice the plastic squirrel baffle on the pole? That's what had us puzzled because we didn't figure a raccoon could get over it. Fooled us!

The next night, Lonnie went back out with the flashlight and scared the coon away. The bandit broke the squirrel baffle in its rush to escape.

So we went to Lowe's and bought a larger metal baffle. For all the good that did! Look at it standing on the thing!

Anybody know what to do about this? Do you have a coon trap we could borrow? No? How about a recipe for baked coon?
