Hummingbird season

We have had only one hummingbird feeder out for most of the summer. But the birds fought over it so much that week before last, Lonnie put out a second one, and then last week, he put out a third. It seems that the more feeders we have, the more birds we see.


Here is a rare shot -- two of the little buggers sitting together on the same feeder.


At one time, we saw seven swarming around a single feeder.

I guess if you build it, or, in this instance, hang it, they will come.
