Happy Easter

Carrie, Lonny and Phillip came today for Easter. We had a really good visit, good food, and loved watching Phillip hunt for eggs.

Phillip wrote down the menu--beaes and pikele met and btatoe. We actually had green beans and new potatoes, ham with pineapple, deviled eggs, rolls, and two different kinds of pickles.

Lonnie and Lonny hid the Easter eggs.

They kept telling Phillip to "look up" because he was missing an egg on the squirrel feeder. It took him a while, but he finally found all 64 eggs. Sixty-four! I didn't use that many for all four of my girls!

For Easter dinner, Carrie had requested the traditional ham with pineapple and brown sugar, green beans & new potatoes, brown & serve rolls, and cherry cream cheese pie. Doesn't get much easier than that! I also fixed deviled eggs for those who like them and plain boiled eggs for those who don't, and some chocolate-dipped strawberries.

After we ate, we sat out on the deck and just relaxed.

Lonnie gave Lonny some golf tips, and they practiced hitting that little white ball. Waaaay too much exercise for my way of thinking!

And of course, Phillip had to get in on the act too.

They're supposed to come back up on the Tuesday after Memorial Day, if I can get off work. We always have such a good visit. Just wish they could come more often.
