So many books, so little time

Yesterday evening, Lonnie and I met Buddy in Ore City and picked up 10 boxes of books (yep, I said 10). They came from the estate of a friend's father and they're mostly headed for our little city library here. Some of them are probably too dated for the library to be interested in, but others are still in the shrink wrap. I have the pleasure of going through the boxes and sorting them out.

I think the thing I'm most excited about is the one book I had asked for. It's an unabridged Webster's dictionary. Who cares if it was printed in 1940? I've wanted one ever since I was first introduced to the one in my junior high school library, eons ago, and now I actually own one. There it sits in all its worn glory, just bulging at the seams with words and meanings I've never known, never heard of, and never considered might exist.
