We went down for Troy's 12th birthday this afternoon. It's hard to believe he's that old, but he tells me he really is. He wanted a white cake with strawberry icing. Amber warned him that the icing would be pink, but he didn't care. He still wanted strawberry. And mint chocolate chip ice cream. What a combination!
These are the kids who were at the party. Trent, of course, is like his daddy, so he's hiding his face. Did you notice that Amanda's now wearing contacts instead of her glasses? They're dark blue. Her eyes, of course, like most of the other grandkids', are blue, but much lighter than they look now. Such a pretty girl! Phillip was goofing off and making faces at the camera, but I think I snapped it just in time for him to look normal. The two little girls in the forefront of the picture are Carrie's husband's nieces, Carrol Ann and Ashley, who are now living with them. And that's Bubba on the right, behind them.
