I don't know that this little town has ever had this much snow. Certainly not in recent memory. We got a total of 6-1/2 inches! The weatherman reported that Dallas got nearly a foot of snow.
The boxer who lives next door is having a blast with all this white stuff. He's still just a pup, so I know he's never seen snow. He's running around biting at the low-hanging limbs, making the snow dump on his head.
We even took Max out on the deck. He's never been in snow either, and he didn't care for it. He was ready to get back in the house.
Lonnie got out early to clean the driveway, but then the office administrator called and said we're taking a snow day, so I didn't have to get out after all.
