Fishing trip

We drove over to Lake Bob Sandlin,on the other side of Pittsburg, this afternoon.


It's a much bigger lake than the one at Daingerfield. Actually, we would have gone to the one locally if it had been open. They're still doing renovations, though, and expect it to be open in time for the 4th of July.


There were quite a few people on the fishing pier, and some more on the bank. But it appeared that the fish had left for parts unknown.


And since we came away empty-handed, we drove on down to Vaughan's for some really great catfish.
