Purple Hull Peas

I just finished putting 19 packages of purple hull peas in the freezer. Would've been 20, but I saved out enough for supper. We're going to have peas and cornbread. Doesn't get any better than that!

I'm supposed to get another bushel of peas next week. It's been raining since yesterday afternoon, so they'll probably get another picking after that!
