More grandkids adventures

Laura, Tripp and the girls flew into Dallas on Friday for the Florida State vs. Oklahoma State football game. We drove over to visit with them and attend the game. We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort & Club in Las Colinas.

Friday night, we ate barbecue out by the pool at the hotel, and listened to 3 Fools on 3 Stools country band. They're really good. After Laura et al. went up to their room, we listened to the band a while longer and then followed suit. This is a shot of the band, as taken from our balcony.

Oh, yes, the game! Tripp graduated from Florida State, so you know who we were all cheering for!

Allison was tired and cranky, and had a tummy ache, so Laura ended up taking her back to the hotel. The rest of us watched the whole game, and I got this shot as FSU gained an extra point tin the 3rd quarter.

 

The game finally over, we worked our way through the crowd and found the cars. Got this shot of Tripp and Caroline outside the new Cowboys Stadium.

This morning, after Jared left for home (he has a new baby), and while Tripp and Josh played golf, and Josh's Laura was getting a massage, we took our Laura and the girls to Pink's Western Wear so Caroline could get some new boots. She's outgrown the last pair and had to pass them down to Allison. She looked really cute in her polka-dot dress and new cowboy boots. I'm sure all her friends in Atlanta will be envious!
