Everything is getting so green around here. The little rose bush that was transplanted up here with me finally has some buds on it. It was the only survivor of five, and I thought it was going to die too, but it's really come alive.
And the little dwarf lemon tree has started to bloom a bit, too.
We live in an area called Dogwood Terrace, but there wasn't a dogwood tree in sight. Lonnie bought one and planted it in the front yard. It seems to be thriving.
The green beans and cucumbers are beginning to show up in our garden. I can hardly wait!
There was some pretty bad weather in our area late this evening. The first storm passed north of us, and the second one didn't turn into a tornado until after it had gone through here. We got lots of wind, a pretty hard rain and some hail, but the stars are out now. Thank you, Lord!
