Barbara is doing great with her new pacemaker battery. She is breathing easier and has more energy than she's known in a long time. Thank you, Lord!
But Carol's outlook isn't nearly as good. Her son called this evening and said that the growth was malignant. She's being released from the hospital tomorrow. She's supposed to have two weeks of radiation and then one shot of chemo, and then the doctors think they'll have a better picture of what's going to happen. Ron is moving (has moved?) their travel trailer to Palm Springs so he can take her back and forth for her treatments every day. She isn't out of the woods yet, so please keep her in your prayers... her and Ron, her kids, Lonnie and Barbara. It's a pretty scary thing.
