Phillip has come to stay a couple of days with us. It's the quietest time of his life, I think. Mostly, he played with the Nintendo 3DS he got for Christmas. I had to insist that he put it away at mealtime. Last night, when I went to check on him and see whether he was asleep yet, there he was, playing with the 3DS in the bed.
We made cookies today. Phillip was torn between eating out of the bowl and playing with his game. Tough decision.
He decorated them (the cookies, not the game) with about 5 different kinds of sprinkles.
This afternoon, he rode his scooter up and down the hill in our neighborhood. And he and I went to the city park, where he rode his scooter around on the red brick sidewalk and then picked up pecans.
When we got home, he wanted to shell the pecans and make a pie, but they were really hard to get out of the shells. They need to dry a while first, so I'm sending them home with him. (Carrie, call me if you need my pecan pie recipe!)
